Mitech’s locally designed and manufactured Dosing Control Valves are especially designed for each application and are ideally suited for use in ring main dosing systems. The valves monitor the process, reduce reagent costs and eliminate human error. The Dosing Control Valves continuously monitor the dosing state with a 15 minute feedback. The medium is continuously circulated reducing clogging, spillage and crystalisation.
Mitech Globe Control valves are general purpose control valves that can be engineered to solve both complex and basic requirements. Their robust construction makes them long-lasting and easy to maintain, while their modular design makes them easy to specify, reducing spares inventory requirements.
The Plastic In-line Valve is effectively a hybrid between the Dosing Valve and the Globe Control Valve. It is actually a standard globe valve utilizing a plastic body similar to the dosing valve, and is also commonly used for dosing applications but where a ring-main has not been set up.
The Rotary Actuator is a low maintenance unit. It is available with either a double crank mechanism for modulating control or a scotch yoke mechanism for on / off duty.The main shaft assembly on the double crank design is welded together and therefore does not have to be assembled / disassembled. The actuator is field reversible from clockwise-to-close to clockwiseto-open and has Namur mounting for switch packs or positioners on the top shaft and transfer case lid.
The Linear Actuator is easy to mount, is offered in various sizes and is suitable for use on most linear valve types.Compact in design, it is rated for 1 000 kPa and has an anodised aluminium cylinder and a stainless steel shaft. Larger sizes use a steel cylinder.
Mitech’s Butterfly valves are concentric disc, rubber lined valves for use in a wide range of applications. Their robust design and variety of materials of construction make them compatible with most liquids and gases in applications where zero leakage shut-off is required.
Mitech’s Dampers are ideally configured for gas control applications where a tight shutoff is not required. They can be made suitable for high pressures and/or temperatures and are much more cost-effective in these applications than Disk valves.
Dampers are effectively similar to Butterfly valves except that they are not fitted with Damper to body seals.
Mitech’s Sweep Angle Control valve is ideally configured for service with highly erosive liquids where pressures and/or temperatures are too high for pinch valves or similar slurry valves, and also for applications where severe flashing is expected.
The plug and seat can be manufactured in hard material (up to and including Tungsten Carbide or other Ceramics) and the body can be boronized or coated with High Velocity Spray Coated Tungsten Carbide in critical areas.
The Desuperheaters have been designed with the aim of reducing plant maintenance by manufacturing a unit that is easy to install, lightweight, and has no moving parts. All units are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 and PED quality approval systems.
Both desuperheating and attemporating are processes where water is added to superheated steam to control the temperature to a set value.
The range of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic positioners is easy to set up and calibrate. Their modular design makes them versatile and suitable for almost any pneumatic application. They are field reversible and corrosion resistant
The locally designed and manufactured Rotating Disc Valves feature a unique rotating/shearing disc which provides a self-lapping rotation and enhanced seat cleaning action which cuts through solids giving a long-lasting tight shut-off.
The metal-to-metal seating makes the valves abrasion resistant over a wide temperature range. Their high pressure capability, which is better than industry standards, allows the force to be distributed over a larger area resulting in reduced trim wear.
Mitech’s High Pressure Stop Globe Valves feature the same robust, low maintenance design characteristics as the rest of the Mitech range of control valves.
Designed to handle some of the industry’s most extreme high pressure and high temperature applications, while providing low cost, hassle-free inline maintenance.
Mitech’s Hygienic valves are ideal for use in temperatures up to 150°C in the food, brewing and medical industries. The valves are cavity free allowing them to be easily cleaned, while their mirror-polished surface discourages bacteria growth.
Mitech’s Kinfe Gate Valves feature the same robust, low maintenance design characteristics as the rest of the Mitech range of control valves.The two-piece body manufactured from profile-cut plate in carbon steel and stainless steel. This configuration accommodates all flange designations whether wafer or lugged.
